For one Maranatha student, Minecraft became an outlet to express his creativity and artistic skills, as well as his love for his school.
Jacob Williams ‘23 modeled a 1:1 replica of the Maranatha High School campus in Minecraft, the popular game in which players “explore a blocky, procedurally generated 3D world with virtually infinite terrain, and may discover and extract raw materials, craft tools, items, and build structures, earthworks, and simple machines.” [Source: Wikipedia]
Jacob’s attention to detail and creative use of the game’s resources are impressive. You can view a video of his build on YouTube HERE.
