Will You Help Us Make a Difference?

We have an opportunity, as a school community, to make a difference for Pasadena families by donating groceries and other essential items during next week’s Food Drive.

On March 25 and 26, Maranatha High School is conducting a Food Drive to support a local Pasadena non-profit organization, Stars (formerly the Lake Avenue Community Foundation). As stated in our March 1st article, Stars has been providing nutritious meals and grocery items to families in need since the pandemic struck, but it requires the generosity of many donors and volunteers to be able to do so each week. The Food Drive is a way for Maranatha families, staff, and friends to rally together to fill the pantries of Stars’ facility and at the same time reflect God’s love to our neighbors who have been greatly impacted by Covid.

Please take a few minutes now to view the list of items most needed and to think about what you can contribute to the Food Drive to support the families Stars serves. We ask you to bring your contributions to our campus donation drop boxes in the upper visitor’s parking lot between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on March 25th or 26th. Parent volunteers will be present to collect the items you are dropping off.

We are also seeking a few more Maranatha parents to assist during the event. If you would like to volunteer your time, please see our SignUp Genius post HERE.
