PSAT Testing is Tuesday, January 26

The PSAT exam is an excellent way for students to familiarize themselves with the content, format, and test-taking processes of college admission exams. It is the best tool to prepare them to take the SAT, itself. This can also help them become a more effective and efficient student, and can help them excel in college admission tests. Results from the PSAT help students to improve the skills they have acquired and to plan to make significant progress in the areas in which they need to improve. The PSAT experience can also provide students with the boost of confidence needed to succeed with more rigorous high school courses.  

 

Thank you to those parents who have completed the form on myMHS that indicates whether your child will take the PSAT on campus or the Practice PSAT online. Parents who have not yet completed the form must do so by tomorrow, January 20. Look for the banner notification at the top of the page when you sign into myMHS. This will greatly help us prepare the campus for the event. 

 

Students are asked to report at 7:30 a.m. on 1/26 and will be done testing by 1:30 p.m. They will be released when their testing room has finished the exam. Students will be assigned to specific classrooms according to their Advisory Group. Room assignments will be posted on campus the morning of the test and students are expected to be in their appointed classroom by 7:55 a.m. 

 

Items for the on-campus PSAT:

Students who opt for the online practice PSAT will receive information from Revolution Prep before the test about how to take and score the Practice PSAT on Tuesday, January 26.
