PA Reminds the Faculty & Staff They Are Appreciated
The Parent Association made sure the faculty and staff knew they were appreciated and loved by delivering something sweet to their classrooms and offices.
As part of their mission, the Parent Association provides monthly treats to the school’s faculty and staff, simply as a way to say “thanks” for everything they do for the students. On September 17, a handful of parent volunteers dropped off freshly baked cookies and a Starbucks frappuccino to each of the staff. The smile on the face of each employee was confirmation that the efforts of our parent volunteers are quite appreciated.
In addition to the monthly Teacher Treats, the PA hospitality team hosts several Faculty/Staff Luncheons, Christmas Appreciation Week, and Teacher Appreciation Week. The Parent Association also provides opportunities to support the school and staff through prayer, volunteering, or donating items needed for events. More information can be found on myMHS under “Groups” and by attending the monthly PA meetings - the next one to be held on Zoom on Wednesday, October 14, at 8:00 a.m.
