Maranatha Stays Committed to Education Through eLearning
Maranatha’s Academic Department continues to encourage and support our students through the temporary transition to eLearning.
Maranatha is a place where conversations about personal well-being and faith are necessary and life-giving. The Academic Department will continue to reach out to students each week to encourage and support them in all areas. Here are a couple of notes for you:
- myMHS: All students should use myMHS as a starting point to obtain the information they need to access classes and homework. This is the platform Maranatha faculty is also utilizing. In addition, please refer to the eLearning Information Resource Board on myMHS for helpful information and tips (e.g., overview, schedule, and FAQ).
- Maranatha Email: The Academic Department expects students to use their email daily. Aside from myMHS, email is the best and most efficient form of communication with teachers.
Academic Dean Tim Fenderson shared, “Maranatha’s staff and faculty are in a constant flurry of activity and continue to train on all eLearning features daily. The Academic Department continues to conduct teacher meetings, Admin and Technology office hours, department meetings, eLearning meetings, and leadership meetings to discuss student life during the campus closure. We know this has been an adjustment for students and teachers alike, and we are working diligently to make the experience a positive one for everyone. We thank you for your responses and questions, as well as for the sacrifices and adjustments you have made in this temporary switch to eLearning.”
