The PSP Deadline is Approaching, but Hours are Available!
Though there are only 3 weeks left before the Parent Service Hours deadline, the good news is there are several vital opportunities to earn hours coming up this month.
A school the size of Maranatha holds many events throughout the year, and most of them rely on the help of parent volunteers. These opportunities to serve and support our school are posted on our SignUp Genius web page which you can access online HERE. For your convenience, here is a glimpse of a few upcoming events which could greatly use your help:
- GRANDPARENTS’ DAY - Help us welcome our grandparents to campus by volunteering to assist with set-up, tear-down, guest registration, and buffet service. It takes 28 volunteers to pull off an event of this scale. If you would like to help the Advancement office with this event, sign up HERE.
- SPRING SHOWCASE - This final performance of the year will feature Mixed Ensemble, Dance Company, and Orchestra. Please help make it a success by volunteering to help with ushering, concessions, candy grams, and flower grams. You can learn more and sign up HERE.
As a reminder, each Maranatha family is required to serve a minimum of 20 hours of service. If your family has not fulfilled the required 20 parent service hours and returned the completed coupon book by Monday, April 15, 2019, you will be billed $500 in May 2019. Families who complete their PSP hours between April 15, 2019 and May 30, 2019 and return their coupon book, will see their PSP charge reversed on their statement.
For parents who still need to earn additional PSP hours, one hour is awarded for each hour of volunteer service, and for every $10 in items donated. Remember to check the school’s SignUp Genius page to see a current list of volunteer and donation opportunities.
