Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Ambassador Auditorium

The classic tale of a young girl going on a journey somewhere over the rainbow is coming to the Ambassador Auditorium this spring!
The spring musical, “The Wizard of Oz,” will be performed Thursday through Saturday, March 14-16. Come and watch the beloved childhood classic be brought to life by the students of the Maranatha Performing Arts program. Featuring live orchestral music, dance, and lots of laughs, “The Wizard of Oz,” is fun the whole family will enjoy.

“The Wizard of Oz” tells the story of a young, Kansas farm girl named Dorothy and her little dog, Toto, who find themselves swept away into another world of witches, wizards, and flying monkeys. As Dorothy searches for a way back home, she befriends a kind Scarecrow without a brain, a gentle Tin Man without a heart, and a cowardly Lion without courage. With the help of her new friends, Dorothy is able to defeat the Wicked Witch and return home to Kansas by clicking the heels of her Ruby Red slippers three times.

Opening night is Thursday, March 14 at 7:00 p.m, with additional shows on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. There will also be a 2:00 p.m. matinee on Saturday. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.maranathahighschool.org/boxoffice.
