Return to Campus Updates

04-21-2021 update

As we mentioned last week, we do not anticipate any significant changes to the number of Covid cases in LA County that would affect our daily school operations in the remaining few weeks of the school year. Therefore, we have made the decision to continue in Hybrid Learning for the remaining 5 weeks of the semester.

Plans are underway to hold our Baccalaureate and Commencement ceremonies on campus, in-person for seniors and their families only. We are eager to celebrate the Class of 2021 at these events, and will follow all Covid safety protocols to protect the health of the attendees.

Our Performing Arts students have completed their final performances of the year, and our Athletic teams will continue their competitions as scheduled. Registration is open for Summer Academy, which will take place on campus June 21 - July 30 with students attending all classes in-person.

We are thankful that the number of Covid cases in LA County continues to decline and vaccinations are more widely available, but we still need each of us to follow the guidance of public health officials to minimize the spread of the virus. Be safe and remain healthy! From this date forward, we will provide updates pertaining to Covid-19 and campus operations as needed, rather than each Wednesday. As always, if you have a specific Covid-related question, please direct them to covidinfo@mhs-hs.org.

God bless,

John Rouse
