Parents, please help us remind your students about following physical distancing protocols - especially at break and lunch times. If you need to change your student's stable group, in order to switch the days he/she comes to campus, you must contact the Academic Office* with your request by Wednesday the week prior to the requested schedule change.
Next week we only have school on three days, Monday through Wednesday, March 29-31. Please consult your school calendar in myMHS for the schedule. When school resumes after Easter break on April 12th, we will continue with hybrid learning, so we ask that families continue to practice all health protocols while away on break in order to minimize the spread of Covid-19.
We recognize that during Easter break, each family has to make their own choice about the manner in which they celebrate and, for some, travel may be involved. For that reason, if your student currently participates in any on-campus activities, we ask that you ensure that your student has been safe before sending him/her to campus, and communicate to us any health concerns you may have. If your student has tested positive for Covid-19 or has been exposed to someone who tested positive, please keep your student quarantined until cleared, and notify Maranatha's Covid Exposure Management Team by email at
covidinfo@mhs-hs.org. The information you provide will remain confidential.
Guests who are attending one of the performances of Bye Bye Birdie in our drive-in movie theater this weekend are reminded to follow all health protocols and instructions, including remaining in their vehicles, and wearing a mask when speaking to people outside of their vehicle. We also ask guests not to honk their horns or make excessive noise. Thank you for helping us be respectful neighbors.
Lastly, parents of athletes should be aware that there are spectator protocols for each sport and are asked to contact their student's coach for details regarding those rules.
We look forward to celebrating the resurrection of Christ our Savior this Easter, and hope that the break from school affords you and your family time to rest and reconnect.
