Return to Campus Updates

01-21-2021 update

Today, we held our first drive-thru Covid Testing for our employees, in preparation for next week's PSAT Exam, when we will have many of our sophomore and junior students on campus.
To ensure the health and safety of the students and staff who will be present that day, we will be strictly following state and local health guidelines. Despite the fact they are coming to campus to take a lengthy exam, we feel certain the students will be excited to be back on campus to experience a few hours of what might be considered a 'normal' high school day.

The numbers of Covid-19 cases and hospitalizations are starting to decline. Though LA County remains in the Purple (most restrictive) Tier, this is a positive change and we expect those numbers to continue to trend downward. News that the Covid-19 vaccine has already been administered to many healthcare workers and first responders, along with the opening of vaccination sites across the Southland, has bolstered our hope and anticipation of the day when we are permitted to re-open our campus to in-person classroom instruction.

We ask you to continue praying for the health and well-being of our students, families, faculty, and staff. Please also continue to follow all health protocols to minimize your risk of exposure and the spread of Covid-19. If you have specific questions about our school's plans or response to this pandemic, you are welcome to email covidinfo@mhs-hs.org.

Blessings,

John Rouse
