Return to Campus Updates

10-21-2020 update

This week's reported COVID-19 case numbers for Los Angeles County are relatively the same as last week. While this does not progress us towards easing the restrictions, it appears that we've leveled out after the recent increase of positive test cases. We are hopeful that we will experience progress in the coming weeks. At a recent news conference, LA County Dept. of Public Health's Dr. Ferrer commented that she was expecting this week's numbers to be about the same and also anticipates that we could see improvement next week.
We appreciate your patience during this process. Our staff continues to prepare our campus for the return of our students when health officials deem it safe. Tomorrow evening's All-School Parent Forum will provide a glimpse into what students can expect when in-person classes resume on our campus. We hope every Maranatha family can join us for this important presentation at 6:30 p.m. Parents may access the Zoom webinar HERE (the link is also posted on the myMHS calendar).

Continue to watch for these weekly email updates. The information is also posted on the Return to Campus page found on your myMHS Resource board. Families are welcome to email any specific questions to covidinfo@mhs-hs.org.

Blessings,

John Rouse
