Faith

We believe that faith is both an act and a gift from God. Faith is a persistent reliance upon the person and promises of God as revealed through His Word, His Church, His Spirit, and His Son, Jesus Christ. As a community, we place God first, seeking to be Christ-centered in each and every word and action.
  • “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.” Romans 5:1-2
  • “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
  • “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:8-10
  • “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1
