Hosting an International Student May Change Your Life Too!
One of the most rewarding things about hosting an international student is to see how God transforms lives and to be part of this life-changing experience.
Maranatha’s International Student Program is looking for host families who are willing to partner with them to make a positive impact in the lives of students and share the love of Christ with them.
As a host family, your role is to:
- Provide transportation for students to and from school and other extracurricular activities.
- Provide a bedroom for each student and designated bathroom (if hosting more than 1 student, the students can share a bathroom).
- Possibility of hosting more than 1 student, if there are available bedrooms.
- Provide three meals a day (most students buy lunch at school).
- Monitor student’s academic progress.
A stipend of $1,500 per month per student is provided.
