Maranatha’s 2019 Homecoming is a Month Away!

Homecoming 2019 is right around the corner! Here are all the great events that are happening during the week of Homecoming. We encourage everyone in our Maranatha community to come join in all the festivities!
Spirit Week, October 21-25: Leading up to the big Homecoming game, everyone on our campus, including students, faculty, and staff, amp up their Minuteman spirit! Our Associated Student Body (ASB) organizes Spirit Week to help get the students ready for the activities. During this week, students will come dressed in their class colors (at least two items of clothing in your class colors) and help decorate the school with their class colors. The class colors for each grade level are: Freshmen (green), Sophomores (purple), Juniors (red), and Seniors (blue). Spirit points will be awarded to each class based on their participation during Spirit Week.

Homecoming Game, October 25: On Friday, October 25, come watch our Maranatha Minutemen take on the football team from Village Christian High School at 7:00 p.m. on The Keith Family Field. The Homecoming football game is a great time that brings students, faculty, staff, and alumni together! Alumni and their families should stop by the Alumni Zone to receive exclusive benefits, such as free admission to the game, a discount of the evening’s meal, snacks, MHS gear, and more!

Homecoming Dance, October 26: On Saturday, October 26, students will gather in the Maranatha Gym for the Annual Homecoming Dance, with this year’s theme being “Hawaiian: Endless Summer.” The cost for the Homecoming Dance is $25.00 per person, which includes food, dancing, and games. Tickets for the Homecoming Dance can be purchased during lunch in the Student Center or online (watch the announcements in myMHS for the link).
