New Communication Feature Arriving… Are You Ready?
As announced on April 8th, Maranatha has acquired a new tool to further enhance the school’s communication abilities. The new software will enable the school to send a text message, email, and voice message to each parent, student, and staff member in just a matter of minutes in the event of an emergency or other urgent matter.
Similar to systems used at universities nationwide, this new feature relies on the school having the necessary contact information for each parent and student in our database. We are asking each parent and student to review and update, if necessary, their Contact Card information in their myMHS profile. It is important that you have your mobile number, home or work number, and email address saved under the “Phone” and “Digital” sections, respectively, of your profile's contact card. For your convenience, we have created this short video tutorial to assist you with updating your contact information. Additionally, if you wish to restrict the information that is shown to other MHS community members, you may also modify that under “Settings> Privacy”.
On Wednesday, May 1, at 1:00 p.m. we will be sending a test message to every parent and student. Please take a moment today to review and update your myMHS Contact Card information so we can be certain to reach you quickly in the event of an emergency.
