Dear Families,

Here are a few tips for quicker, accurate processing of your financial aid application.

  1. Please make sure you include your bar code with your taxes. Make sure nothing is stapled.  Applications without the bar code or containing staples will be put in a pile that will be processed last.
  2. Please take your time and read everything carefully as you go through your application. Carelessly filled out applications will affect the outcome of your financial aid award. Please note that Maranatha expects all families to contribute to tuition. The inability to do so will result in a declined Tuition Assistance application.
  3. Please complete your 2015 taxes as early as possible.  (All Early admissions grants will be based on review of your 2015 tax returns and awards will be contingent on 2016 taxes.) All Tuition assistance applicants (new and returning) must submit 2016 taxes by February 15, 2017 and awards for Regular Admissions and returning families will not be considered until taxes are in.
  4. Be sure to send your full 2016 tax returns by February 15, 2017: Federal and all pertinent schedules, State and all W-2’s for each parent. Tuition Assistance awards will not be considered until 2016 taxes are in and as funds are available.
