Incoming 9th Grade Students
Note: Due to the Pandemic, Maranatha has decided to make the ISEE optional for our incoming 9th graders applying for the 21-22 school year.
The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is the test used by Maranatha High School to evaluate incoming 9th grade student applicants. The ISEE is one of several tools we use to evaluate and will be used in conjunction with the application, transcripts, reference letters, and the interview to ascertain information about the applicant. Applicants may take the ISEE test anywhere that it is offered, but for your convenience, Maranatha does offer the test on multiple dates here on our campus. We encourage applicants to take the earlier test dates so we can schedule you for an interview sooner.
As of last year, ISEE is allowing students to register for the exam up to three times in a 12-month admissions cycle (once per testing season: fall, winter, spring). Though it is available, neither ISEE nor Maranatha High School recommends multiple testing. Although not required, Maranatha highly recommends that families list our school as a score recipient at the time of registration so we are sure to receive your scores. Maranatha Admissions staff will not be able to schedule an interview until all application requirements have been submitted, including the ISEE scores. In the case of multiple scores, Maranatha will accept the highest complete test score (from one test date).
Maranatha's school code is 052686.
