Jeff T. Green Family Foundation Scholarship- CSU Channel Islands
This is an excellent scholarship opportunity offered at CSU Channel Islands (CSUCI). First-time first-generation college students who meet the Pell Grant eligibility criteria (FAFSA) or have an equivalent Pell Grant (CADAA) Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) and have high school GPAs between 2.0-2.99 can apply. For 2024-25, there are 250 scholarships available for first-time freshmen in the amount of $20,000 (spread over 4 years, pending completion of ongoing eligibility requirements). Eligibility Criteria to Apply:

- Must be a first-time freshman admitted to CSUCI for Fall 2023
- Must have earned a 2.50-3.25 cumulative GPA in high school
- Must be a first-generation student (neither parent has earned a baccalaureate degree)
- Must plan to participate in a CSUCI Learning Community
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, or a Permanent Resident, or an AB 540 eligible student
- Must file a 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), or a 2024-25 California Dream Act Application (CADAA)
- Must have financial need (based on the FAFSA or CADAA)
